My experience at english class

The truth is that I’ve always been afraid of English. I find it hard to learn. It’s like everyone can speak it easily but me. I had very bad teachers in school and when I got good teachers, my level was still below my classmates’. In spite of that, I keep trying, and I think I’m learning a bit more as I go along. 

Third level of English has been hard but also fun. I’ve struggled with everything I’ve had to do (not to mention the short amount of time I’ve had to study for other classes) but still I think I’ve managed to do things I didn’t think I could do, such as explain something in English. It was hard for me but my boyfriend helped me to speak better as he corrected me, and finally he helped me putting together my exposition. I realized, since I don’t have such a good memory, my only option was to really speak English, to understand what I was saying more than simply repeat it.

I have learned many things but I feel I’m missing some connectors and vocabulary. English tenses are very hard for me, as well as the order of things. Because of my bad memory, I find those very hard to learn.

In the future I would like to see more games or songs, because I think I can learn more by playing or singing. Those things make me remember easier.

However, I’ve liked the blog very much. It’s fun to read what my classmates are writing and the stories they tell. I think it would be fun to read more of those anecdotes.

In general, I’ve had fun despite I find English hard to learn.

The "secret friend"

Sometimes I play “Secret friend”  with friends and family because is a fun game, though we don’t play it like it’s supposed to.

For what I know, the correct way of playing it is that each one should be constantly helping the person he or she was assigned to give the gift, sending him or her letters, giving away clues, so when the day of the gift delivery comes, everyone should be able to guess who his or her “Secred Friend” is, based on those clues. If that happens the person who give the gift lose (meaning the one who guessed it wins). The gift must be handed either way. “To lose” at this game doesn’t mean much because you don’t “lose anything”, it just means that you couldn’t be the “Secret Friend”  all the way until the end as you got “caught”. Normally people skip that part and just give the presents… I don’t know if it’s because not many people know about this, or if they’re just being lazy, but I like that part although many refuse to do it.

Another reason why I like “Secret Friend”  is because it’s cheaper. Sometimes, when you have a big family or a large group of friends, you can’t afford to give everyone a different gift… I just don’t have the money for that! However, with Secret Santa you only give one gift, as oppose to get something for everyone, so you can spend all your money on just one person and buy something to amaze him/her.

Because of all that, I like Secret Santa and I always have a great time playing it.

My subjet favourite

My subjet favourite is Art in cinema, because is very interesting and funny. Direction Art is a subjet is about art and decoration in set of the films. Decoration, things in general, costume, color of the set, table, chair, etc… everyone the it is back the actors. My professor is Pia Rey, she knows about art in cinema and television. She to talk in a class about your jobs and trajectory, she is work in reality, work in the many films of different directors, she study in other countries  and work  in the series “Heroes” of the Chile (it´s about history of the Chile with character like Bernardo O’higgins, Jose  Miguel Carrera and Manuel Rodriguez) is very difficult make films of epoch, because is much money for costume and decorations of age and location (town, city, space green, park etc) is invaded by technologic and this series based in 1810, the street with pavimet is  a one  difficult. Trajectory of Pia Rey is very interesting and she is a good professor, I learn with her many thing about Direction Art and Production in general. I things is the best subject in this career.

Hayao Miyazaki

Hayao Miyazaki is an animation director and producer of Japan Animation,  He was born on January 5, 1941, Co-founder of studies Ghibli . Miyazaki has achieved world-wide fame be cause of his histories and the drawings of its films. In the year 2002 Miyazaki won the first Oscar for the an Anime (that is a style of Japanese animation), After that already has been nominated 2 times to the Oscars. His films stand out for being attractive for both children and adults thus reaching a wide audience. Another characteristic that identifies the films of this director is that it achieves the mixture between the traditional Japanese In conjunctions with a narrative that is understandable anywhere in the world which have a strong ecological message where not only teaches the care of nature If not that the care of the spirits who live in those spaces and who lives in forests and green areas For making these mixes together whit a  good, beautiful and attractive story that you can see in family.

The song of my life

The song of my life varies according whit my age, my life, and my state of mind, actually what I am is listening at that moment, So it is difficult for me to know what is THE song of my life be cause I don’t know. I can talk about song that brings me some memories,  songs that I like to sing, songs that make me feel a lot of thing but I don’t know if my life is that song… maybe I need to make the song of my life.

Well, Anyway I will name some songs that I like. The one that says "eres un arcoiris de multiples colores” this one is  because I was born in valparaiso and that ends up being a hymn if  you lived sometime in Valparaiso , another is the Round Round, by Charo Jofré, talks about how a girl grows and the stages of her life she's very cute and I listened  since i was very young . Mazapan bring me a lot of memories to, Currently I like a lit classical music , I really like Beethoven, the seventh symphony  , in fact his trajectory is very interesting. The fifth symphony also has its own but in salsa version it is even better, I leave the link so you can enjoy it, it is the best mix between the rigidity of the classic and the Latin flavor.

My favourite movie scene

My favourite movie scene

My favorite movie scene is the scene from the movie Farinelli because its a great movie about music. Farinelli is the movie of a very famous castrati singer, tells about his life as a singer, his drama with his brother and how he became such an recognized  singer.

I really like this movie because it is about music, it has very good singers and a good musicalization, a great performance and a very entertaining plot. The scene that I present to you now is a scene where Farinelli sings a very sharp note for a long time, he made a bet with his brother to see if he could make that great musical note. In the middle of the presentation a woman takes te while she reads and the sound of the cup is heard through all the theater, Farinelli stops singing and simply look at her, the orchestra stops playing and the woman after listening to the silence looks at Farinelli and stops reading, Only there Farinelli continues  singing, reaches the sharp note and makes many women faint.

 Freak trivia:

 Farinelli's voice is actually two people singing, only so they could get as much as sharp notes as to bass, but in the movie you do not notice that. It is very well made!

One of my favorite photos

I like this picture because my cat is sleeping peacefully (as it does most of the time) And while she slept I told myself that I could put things on him without waking up, So I was putting more and more things on them while she was still sleeping all the time, she doesn’t care. I took its picture a very short time ago and I really enjoyed it while I took it, my cat is very funny. I think the photo portrays that moment when I laughed while she slept deeply. I always try to take pictures of my cat be cause I find her very cute and funny.

Although I do not usually take many photos in general, I forget the camera and that is why I have few portraits of everyday life, I have but not as many as people in general. And I think that for that is the photography, to portray moments that we want to remember, and this photograph reminds me a moment when I laught a lot, that's why it's my favorite photo.
